About the role
Punjab Safe Cities Project is recruiting a Legal Counsel, Contracts & Procurement to join the Legal & Compliance team in Lahore, Punjab. The role sits at BPS-17 with a reported salary range of PKR 175,000 - 235,000 and requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
You will own tendering and contracting activity end to end: preparing procurement plans, drafting and issuing tenders and RFQs, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts and monitoring delivery against the organisation's annual plan. The position works closely with finance, technical and administrative departments, and with external consultants and suppliers.
What we are looking for
- Degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain management, law or a related discipline
- Hands-on experience with PPRA rules, tendering processes and public sector procurement
- Working knowledge of e-procurement portals and financial management systems
- Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills and written communication in English
- Willingness to travel to field offices and project sites as required
